1SIGN Foundation, founded by Lubomír Haltmar, launches the One World Family 2026 Global Summit — an annual international platform uniting legislative reform, cultural inspiration, and humanitarian action to address the global family crisis.

“Where families break, society breaks. Stand for Families. Stand for the Future.”

In November 2025, a foundation delegation visited Hong Kong, where Mr. Haltmar held three in-depth strategic meetings with internationally renowned scientist, artist, and humanitarian Professor Dominic Lam Man-Kit. Their discussions examined the multilayered pressures facing children and adolescents worldwide, including:

• Rising depression and anxiety
• Increasing suicide risk
• Social isolation and peer detachment
• Digital addiction and declining attention capacity
• Widening generational divides driven by technology
• Harmful academic and parental pressure.

Professor Lam emphasized that today’s children grow up amid information overload, competitive social-media environments,
weakened family communication, and constant digital stimulation—factors that cause many youths to endure “a silent suffering that adults often overlook.” He stressed that building supportive families, improving digital wellness, and strengthening emotional resilience must become global
priorities. Both sides agreed to designate these mental- health and social-wellbeing concerns as core themes of the 2026 One World Family event and to promote cross-sector collaboration to address them.

If we allow family structures to deteriorate, we risk creating a future generation facing serious social and mental-health challenges, which will inevitably impact society like a boomerang—not only in Europe or the USA, but also in Asia.
